The Working life in Surfers!

PICTURE: A Koala at dream world.
Hey,
Well we are both officially employed! I will be working at Sea world. Im not sure exactly what my job description is but i go in for my orientation on september 4th. It entales something with food, possibly a cafe. Maybe i will be a dolphin or shark feeder? (in my dreams!)
On tuesday Glenn was off work so we went to White water world and dream world theme parks. One day when we were walking a guy on the street offered us free passes because he was leaving and would not be able to use them, so we went and used the free passes. It was alot of fun, white water world is water slides, kinda like sylvan lake water slides, and dream world is a wanna be disney land. Dream world also had a section called Australian wildlife and they had Koalas, Kangaroos and crocodiles etc. That was the best part. We saw the biggest croc we have ever seen!!
All in all things are good, the sun is shining and Glenn is really liking his job. Were still having a blast. Miss you guys and hope you had a beautiful summer.
Love Jen and Glenn

Hi Glenn, Jen
It's great that you both found jobs and especially jobs that sound like fun! I loved all your pictures. We had a great long weekend, lots to do and great weather. Friday Rick went off to do a plumbing job and managed to cut the end of his finger "with a sharp tool" was all he'd tell me right down to the flesh. He actually cut the top right off his finger. In typical Rick style he wouldn't go to the hospital and get stitches so it took him practically all day to get it to stop bleeding. Grrr! Gregg thought he had his condo sold but the girl who made offer to purchase, her financing did not get approved so he's back to square one. Of course the market has softened a bit in the meantime so I hope that he manages to sell it. I got "new to me" set of Spalding golf clubs (really nice woods) so went golfing with Gregg and Rick on Sunday. Rick didn't do as well as Gregg partly because of the bad finger I guess. Monday I had Annika and Owen all day. Got Annika some last minutes "school necessities" and had the rest of the family over for dinner so the weekend went fast. Love all the pictures. I'm forwarding to your dad so he can see them all at his work. OHH - big news, Rick had his pension interview and will get his first pension cheque on October 15. Maybe his blood pressure will go down accordingly.
